Refugee Talent founders, Nirary Dacho and Anna Robson met at the Sydney Techfugee Hackathon in November 2015. They joined together to solve the problem of the 80million talent pool of refugees being invisible to employers. Their solution Refugee Talent – is a recruitment technology driven social enterprise where companies can hire refugees internationally through our partnership with Talent Beyond Boundaries to fill skills gaps in organisations.
Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer (CTO) Nirary Dacho has a Masters in Web Science and more than 8 years experience in networking in the IT field. He was a lecturer at university in Syria and also worked as Manager for the Assyrian Human Rights Network.
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Anna Robson has a Bachelor in Sports Coaching/Bachelor in Sports Management. She previously worked in the Nauru detention centre for Save the Children and has worked for Queensland Police Service and the Canberra Raiders.
Jason has over 20 years experience in law, corporate finance, general management and politics in Australia, the USA, Europe and China. He is the Chair of Vantage Asia Holdings, an investment and advisory group with interests in financial services, resources and technology businesses in Asia.
Aysegul is the founding partner and principal of Relocation Specialists and Chapter Lead for Australia for the Forum for Expatriate Management. She is an experienced company director and global mobility professional, active member in Brisbane Angels Group and on the board of The Ethicos Group, Kyeema Foundation Solarbuddy and ImpaQt.
With over 30 years of technology commercialisation experience, Chris has had a number of executive and investor roles both in Australia and internationally. Chris is actively involved in both global technology strategy and bootstrapping new ideas for Dolby Laboratories.
Tania is an experienced management consultant and communications professional with over 20 years’ experience as a leader and facilitator. She was previously COO at Taylor Street Advisory, a boutique advisory firm advising clients on strategy and communications.
Graham has been in the Executive Search Profession for the past 14 years. He previously worked with one of the premier global search firms, initially as a consultant with a focus on the Technology and Professional Services sectors and he also had the opportunity to work with a number of Chairs in helping fill their board vacancies.
David is an experienced leader in FMCG, having spent over 20 years in marketing and commercial leadership roles within the sector across the Australian, New Zealand, Asian and European markets. He is currently the Business Director for Energizer Holdings, a global leader in the portable power and automotive sectors, for Australia and New Zealand.
